Unouna is the Spouse of the Vice Consul for the Tongan High Commission. She has three children, has been in Canberra for six years and is currently doing a second Master’s degree in project management at the Queensland University of the South Pacific. Before coming to Canberra Unouna worked at the Broadcasting Business (National Television and Radio) for over eight years. She was a facilitator of the ANZ Bank Financial Literacy Program for seasonal workers and young professionals.

Jasmine recently moved to Canberra with her husband’s posting. They have previously been posted to Washington DC for two postings, Canberra is the third. Before their first tour of the US in 2003 Jasmine worked in the private sector including in a financial institution and at an IT company. During her time in Washington Jasmine attended cultural events with the Welcome to Washington group which afforded her great opportunity to share Cultural events.
